Fall 2017 Coach Handbags: A Collection That Was Quirky, Spunky Yet Classy

Inspired By The Americana Grasslands Dwelling Temporary Prairie Houses And Fanning Tumbleweeds, The Fall 2017 Coach Handbags Collection Showcased Iconic And New Doctor Shaped Bags Color Blocked In Earthy Tones

The Fall 2017 runway for Coach 1941 displayed the Great American Desert landscape as it was the source of inspiration for Coach’s Creative Director, Stuart Vevers, while designing the fall 2017 collection for the fashion house. The runway set exhibited a temporary prairie house at the end of the ramp with tumbleweeds fanning all over the set to bring forth the very essence of the Great Plains.

The typical color tones that define”the Plains” view including chestnut, brass, sunflower, chalk white and orange were rendered into colorblocked patterns that were featured into the archival as well as new Coach handbag silhouettes. For fall 2017, the American Leather Goods brand designed a completely new silhouette that was inspired by the iconic doctor’s bag. Titled ‘Kisslock Satchel’, the tiny purse crafted from glovetanned leather incorporates the iconic kisslock closure and also features refined luggage handles as well as a crossbody strap to carry the bag according to one’s own comfort.

The way Dinky and Double Dinky bags from Coach’s Spring 2017 runway collection charmed the handbag lovers, it seems the quirky, spunky yet classy look of the new doctor bag would take the baton to suave the handbag addicts to the next level!

Apart from the new Kisslock Satchel, the classic Coach bags such as ‘Rogue’ bag – one that has been inspired by free spirits, rebels and dreamers – have been reinterpreted for fall 2017 with embossed prints and bold colorblocked tones. Those playful prints detailing the fall 2017 bags designed by Coach included the iconic Dr. Doodle, Cherry Prints, Floral Bow Print, Retro Cars and Galloping Horses.
